In the state of Pennsylvania, it is against the law to obtain controlled substances from a pharmacy by using a forged or fake prescription. Controlled substances are ranked from Schedule 1 through Schedule 5, with 1 being the highest potential for abuse, and 5 being the lowest. Some of the examples of these substances are as follows:
Schedule 1: Ecstasy, LSD, marijuana, magic mushrooms, and heroin
Schedule 2: Oxycodone, Adderall, meth, cocaine, Vicodin, and Ritalin
Schedule 3: Ketamine, testosterone, Tylenol with codeine, and anabolic steroids
Schedule 4: Valium, Ambien, Soma, Xanax, and Darvocet
Schedule 5: Lyrica, Lomotil, Robitussin AC, Motofen, and Parepectolin
